If you are new to kayaking and plan to spend time in the Broken Islands, Johnstone Straight or other coastal destinations, this course is for you. over two days and one night, learn all the basic strokes and capsize rescue as well as navigation and camping from a kayak. Bowen Island is just 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver, this includes a 20 minute relaxing ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay. Our shop is at Snug Cove, by the ferry dock, so walk on the ferry as a foot passenger. How to get here |
