Howe Sound Explorer
Sung Cove, on Bowen Island, is uniquely placed as a launch point to explore Howe Sound. We paddle north, enjoying the spectacular views of the snow capped north shore mountains, before reaching a quiet beach for lunch with views all the way up to Squamish and Black Tusk. After lunch, your guide will take you across the channel to Bowyer Island before sweeping south back to Snug Cove.
With abundant wildlife in the area, keep your eyes out for seals, bald eagles, sea stars and kingfishers. In the spring we are often blessed with sea lions, later into summer you may even spot Orcas and as September approaches humpback whales also frequent our waters.
