Have you wanted to try Stand Up Paddle Boarding, but didn’t know how to get started? Bowen Island is the perfect place to learn stand-up paddle boarding (SUP). 

You’ll learn the core paddling skills, safety on the water, and most of all how to have fun! Be prepared to be introduced to a whole new sport that allows you to explore and engage with our natural wonderland. 

Each lesson price includes the rental of a paddle board, paddle, personal flotation device (PFD) and throw rope.

Class Min/Max: Min 2 /Max 6 participants

Price for Intro or Intermediate : $79

Intro Lesson

Start with the basic strokes and get up on the board for gentle paddles around the bay.

No prerequisites, all levels welcome
Must be comfortable in and around water

Intermediate Lesson

Build on your Intro experience by improving your strokes, turns and gaining more confidence in a variety of conditions.

Must have completed the Intro Lesson or have spent multiple hours/sessions practicing independently
